Devoted fans of the pop star are calling for that a individual who breached a fence and grabbed the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A viral clip reveals the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and lunging at Grande while the actors walked down a promenade surrounded by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was due to attend court on the next day. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

History of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Safety

Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the end of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said one more response on Instagram.

Several attendees also questioned event staff at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded online networks to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Premiere Information

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande seemed startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Numerous of attendees had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be launched on 21 November, is the follow-up of a dual adaptation of the well-known Broadway and West End show Wicked, which revolves around the surprising friendship between two distinct sorceresses.

The production itself is a derivative of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of last year in the UK, and received ten Oscar nominations, earning a pair for best costume and artistic direction.
