This project represents a from-scratch reinterpretation of the seminal 2000 JRPG, first released as Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. Taking a distinct departure from other series re-releases, like the recently released HD-2D versions, this version utilizes a unique 3D visual presentation. Environments are designed to resemble detailed miniature worlds, with characters sporting a whimsical chibi-esque design.

Major Mechanical Improvements & Updates

- Expanded Job Mechanics: One brand new character role was created for this remake. Furthermore, characters now have the option to master a second job, greatly expanding strategic options.
