This was the scene that kept viewers completely captivated.

The television personality throwing his co-conspirators under a bus in a bold bid to avoid elimination.

But his efforts backfired - in dramatic fashion.

The remaining traitors, the singer and the television host, quickly detected what Ross was up to.

And at a dramatic voting session, they each mercilessly targeted him, voting him out.

Burns even spelled Jonathan's name wrong - that's got to add insult to injury.

At long last, the Big Dog was gone.

The deceptive alliance was shattered.

With the most votes, it was Ross's time to leave the show.

And exit he certainly did, with what many are calling online as the most iconic parting words in the show's history.

The Legendary Exit Speech

"I'm completely baffled what mistakes people are making.

I'm shocked you've made the same mistake," the television personality announced.

"I cannot believe that I'm in this position unfairly, though I hate to say it, you're making a huge mistake," he continued.

"At this moment, I'm, and I have been all through the game completely Faithful..." he said, sparking faces of disbelief within fellow contestants, before concluding his statement: "...to the traitors."

"That became the most outrageous departure," said a clearly disturbed Joe Marler.

Aftermath and Feedback

Following this, the players burst into cheers.

Finally - the honest contestants have successfully uncovered one of the deceivers.

And not just any traitor.

The forest-green attired, sunglasses loving, the television host is out.

According to media analyst Indigo Stafford, this demonstrated another sign of exactly how "cutthroat" the Traitors have proven to be.

"The deceptive partnership fell apart!

An incredibly suspenseful broadcast," she said.

Post-Elimination

Yet while talking with production later, the media personality remained gracious about acknowledging departure.

"I'm kind of happy it concluded and I'm satisfied Alan targeted me too," he revealed.

"I'm optimistic they will remain united and easily win the game."

On the Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked podcast, the host elaborated that the ideal strategy for a traitor was "don't be too loud, remain somewhat visible.

Which is precisely why Alan and Cat are demonstrating such an excellent strategy."

Prior Occurrences

Earlier in the show, a different loyal player was murdered.

On this occasion, the victim became the performer's opportunity, following her placement the prior broadcast on the losing chess team.

The performer was taken out spectacularly, in a face-to-face killing, back at the oversized chess set.

She appeared genuinely shocked upon discovering the true natures of the dishonest contestants.

"I'm displeased with you at all," she informs them.

"You played your strategy really, really well."

Similar to other contestants, her first thought when she realised the comedian was involved behind the deception became, "Alan was responsible for Paloma!"

More Excitement

"Murdering face to face proved extremely brutal, and so raw," commented Carr.

"I feel like Death himself."

The television presenter, who had also been with the unsuccessful group, was spared from removal.

However, she felt dissatisfied with the response of her fellow players upon entering the morning meal the next day.

"No one is happy that I'm still here," remarked the television host.

"How come nobody trust me?"

The sports figure immediately clarified that her issue involves, she rarely offers with a lot of theories, a point Garraway didn't dispute.

"I'm completely ineffective, I can't bear it," she said.

Challenge Drama

During different moments, the focus became the comedian's antics again, as the entertainment figure navigated a rickety bridge above water in the most recent task, shrieking as he did so.

"You're doing so well," the media figure commented, in an attempt to motivate him, to which he replied: "Be quiet."

"I imagined I was experiencing sports day with the kids.

Like a loving, overbearing mother, I was distracting him," Garraway noted during confessionals.

But Carr triumphed, and upon completion, he stated the immortal words: "God my testicles.

I've become victorious yet compromised."
